You know it has been awhile since your last post when that happens! WOW and A LOT has happened - I'll never catch up so I'll just go on from here and hope I make sense!!! LOL like that happens routinely!!

HA HA! I guess you can tell that it is "Fair Week" at this household! And that is ends Saturday night but, I have all the leftovers from last week in the freezer!
This is the START of - a new week, a new month, a new school year and fall so that should be enough inscentive for the fresh start I need! (I'm hoping!)

Peggy and I had a "Girls Day Out" on Saturday - What FUN We Had!! We went to Idaho Falls, hit most every scrapbook and craft store to see the newest and greatest stuff and to buy what we just couldn't live without! We especially had a great experience at Porters with a new die cut they have to make pages for a mini book - we almost were dangerous to ourselves! We had a way too yummy lunch that included at very decadent apple ala mode pastry like thing at Johhny Carino's when I remembered Jason's last companion had just came home from Finland and worked at Best Buy - I am going to copy and paste what I wrote to Jay in his e-mail I just sent to him -
I almost saw Elder Cobabe! - Peggy and I had a girls day out Saturday and went to IF - we were eating at Johnny Carino's when I remembered we were right across the street from Best Buy! - well we finished and went over - as I was walking in I realized I didn't know his first name and I still don't think I am pronouncing his last name right so to avoid looking like a retard I thought I might just go in and have a look around and see if I maybe could pick him out and start up a conversation - have I even seen a picture of him???!!! Well anyway, we walked in and I realized that would never happen - they have like 37 (I am not lying - I even asked!) employees working at anyone time on a Saturday! So a scary looking employee was standing at the door - we avoided him! and a sweet and nice looking girl walked by - I flagged her down and explained as best I could who we were looking for - after a while of me rambling on and on she finally caught on to who I might be talking about she says "oh ya sure" and walked off ( I should have been worried at this point - it was football jersey day at Best Buy and she was wearing a Manning Jersey - I should have flagged down the guy wearing the Elway or even the Terrell Davis jersey!) Anyway - I didn't know if she was going off to use her cool little intercom little mic thingy pinned to her collar or make a visual and bring him to us or just leave us hanging - well door number 3 was what it was! But another guy who kind of listened in on the conversation ( I've forgotten whose shirt he was wearing - I know, you are disappointed!) made a few inquiries for us and came back and told us 1 -yes he worked there 2 - no he wasn't there right now 3 - he "might" come in at 4 (whatever that means??!!). It was 3:00 so we decided to hit another scrapbook store to kill the hour until we could come back. Well we killed almost 2 hours but made it back and this time there was an even scarier guy at the door so we marched past and I hailed a 49er's guy ( I actually typed 'gut' but in my defense he did have a big one") Sorry - anyway, he looked to really be in charge of things, so I went into the same lame story of looking for someone who I didn't know his first name or how to say his last name but just that he started working there very recently as he had just come home from a mission to Finland - where he was a companion to my son - I lamely threw that last in when he started looking at me really weirdly - it worked! - he even used his microphone thing right there in front of us but he didn't get much info back, so off he went, so at this point we kind of looked around when Peggy just about got us kicked out! she picked up a digital camera just to "look" at it, and set off alarms that no one could get it to turn off! Anyway 49ers' guy came back(I didn't see whose name was actually on the back) and said 1 - yes he definitely worked there 2 - he had worked this morning:( 3 - his first name is Alex :) and 4 - he would work again on Monday - so I finish this whole long sorry pointless story with a repeat of the first sentence - we almost saw Elder Cobabe!
Back to "GDO" - we defiantely shopped till we dropped! -
and I still had to go to the grocery store and pick up something for my sunday dinner and I thought I might rent some movies to watch in the quietness that is this week - I almost didn't make it back home I was so tired! Which explains why I slept through the storm we had that blew down the tree on the front lawn of the church! And it has rained all day since I got home from church about 2 or so and it is still drizzly at 7 - it really must be fair week! I feel bad for my poor family at the Fair! I'm thinking warm sunny thoughts guys!
