While yesterday was 100, today is truly landmark - double digits till Jay comes home! So to celebrate, what else can we do than Jr. Bacon Cheeseburgers at Wendy's! It's a Jay tradition! In the midst of recovering from wisdom teeth removal, Jason had a JBC- he did have to run it through the blender first though! Yuk!

X-Files!!!

Wow, WOW and WOW! Yes, I am an x-files girl through and through - I have the series on DVD and watch them regularly - I previously had recorded most of them on VHS - at 10:00pm Mon-Fri, TNT had them on and I did the "x-file run" downstairs to turn on the VCR when I had forgotten to set it. Because they were taped off TV they were not the best, but I still felt compelled to have them. When we cleaned out the family room after one of the floods, everyone wanted me to throw them out - how I could I toss something so connected to me? But watching the DVDs I have realized how many I missed and it's like finding a treasure when I come to one I have not seen before! Oh how I loved Mulder and just waiting for him use his many talents and save the day! And Scully - who wouldn't want to be her? She's smart and grounded in her beliefs and gets to work with Mulder everyday! In the new movie she is even more beautiful inside and out! I so miss this series and wish fervently that it would make a comeback.

Today was Scrap Your Day - I was at work and am proud to say I got everyone to pose for a picture and Tao even smiled - yes be impressed! I'll post the pictures later.

Temple and PPP

Jim and I had a 5:45 am temple assignment this morning - when the alarm went off at 4:00 I very much regretted being an obedient daughter of God! But as is the norm, once I was up and at 'em and especially we we arrived at the temple I was so glad. The very air seems different that early in the morning and what better way to start your day than visiting the house of the Lord?! When we got home just before 9 we decided to go out for breakfast - IHOP again for stuffed french toast - YUMMMY! I then came home, fell back into bed and slept till 1:30!

I woke to this laying in the hall:

Cute Boy he truly is! He is helping her with some unwanted trees in her yard.

Kolby had a birthday/slumber Party last night hence this picture - what I call "Post Party Posture"! It seems that I see this after every 'slumber party' my kids go to - there really needs to be a name change there because I am pretty certain not much sleeping goes on!

Today's Prompt: The things that inspire us are often linked to what we label as quirks in our personalities: things we like that others seem to dismiss. What quirk could you share with your blog readers to see if they really dismiss this or if it’s something you have in common?

I had a hard time when I first read this - I couldn't come up with anything.....then I thought to use my resources - and asked my family and got a list! I"m sure I would have gotten WAY more but I stopped them after a couple minutes when I started to get offended! LOL

Here are some they came up with :

I label stuff - click on the picture for bigger shot

I HATE country music but LOVE Keith Urban!

I say "groovy" 40 years to late

I pile, pile and pile stuff - OK I'll but all of those and add - I HAVE to have the towels folded and put in the drawer so that the fold is showing:

See how clean and neat it is and how easy it is to pull just the one towel you need and still leave the drawer neat and tidy! I'll even go so far as to say this is a HUGE pet peeve of mine - to open the towel drawer and see chaos!
