Blogging Catch up!

Tuesday’s Prompt was: if you could travel in time for just one day, where would you go and what would you do?
.
I an intrigued by the idea of Time Travel - Some of my favorite shows travel in time - Dr. Who (see above), Quantum Leap (I LOVED Sam Beckett! see above), X-Files (TWO WEEKS TILL THE NEW MOVIE!) had a few episodes dedicated to Time Travel and Heroes. And I must list LOST in this topic as well but who knows WHAT is going on on that island! My Favorite Book - The Summerhouse plot is time travel. I have read and enjoyed other books based on time travel. Some of my all time favorite movies involve traveling in time - Somewhere in Time, the first (and only good) Terminator, Frequency, Timeline, The Lake House. And I am a dork - I have short colored hair and the thought has crossed my mind - if I were to travel back in time to say the Victorian age, the people then would think me very weird and how oh how would I get rid of the grey when my roots grow out!!!!
.
There is not a time that stands out in my mind that I would travel to. I would like to see many different eras - See what life was like in many different times - Adam and Eve, Biblical, Victorian, early church history times. I could put my testimony to the test and listen to Joseph Smith. Maybe I would relive the safety and security of my childhood where I only did things that I thought were fun and I had no worries or responsibilities. Or go back to my teenage years and teach myself how wonderful I am and give me some much needed confidence! Or I could go the materialistic way and go back and make some good money investments so we were financially secure now!
.
But after writing this all out it has helped me decide that I would go back to my younger self and give me a pep talk - tell me that I am wonderful! and can do whatever I want! and be whatever I want! I have great talents that are there for me to use and enjoy and share with people - LET THEM OUT! Tell me that I have wants and desires that are worthwhile and need fulfilling at all costs - DON'T SETTLE! And when those around you don't see things the same way it is OK - let them, don't change yourself because of someone else. Do it anyway!
.
Wow - getting teary and drippy in response to a scrapbooking assignment - but this is what I love about this hobby - it makes you examine your life and heart and then lets it out!

What would you do?
