Today's Blog Prompt from Shimelle - "What's in your suitcase?"

• Clothes, undies, jammies, workout clothes and shoes
• toiletries - I have a bag under my sink all packed with necessities - most are sample sized
• my pillow - I have to have my very own - I can't sleeep without it!
• scriptures and a good book
• my thyroid meds
• hair supplies - these almost need their own bag!

The way I pack - In my mind I start in the morning and pack things as I would use them and go through till night, packing as I go - ie - first thing in the morning I shower and wash my face so I need my hair stuff and face cleanser, then I put on moisterizer and hair mouse - I just go around the house packing as I would use stuff throughout the day. Lastly, I pack my scriptures and the book I am reading as that is the last thing I do at night. I know I am crazy! - but I very rarely forget something - that is my worst travel fear!

What travel experiences do you remember from your childhood? Going to Utah to visit family all piled into the cab of the pickup
Where do you travel on a day to day basis? (This might even be within your house or not at all -- that's fine!) to the big W's - Work, Wal-mart and Winco! To chauffeur kids around, to the bank and sometimes if I'm lucky a trip to the scrapbook store!
For what reasons do you travel? (Errands, visiting friends/family, business, exploration...)Visiting family, errands
Do you travel light or push your luggage allowance to the limit? I try to pack light! It doesn't always happen though!
What modes of transportation do you use? Car
What place in the world has left an impression on your soul? How did that happen?
Has there been a time in your travels that you wished you had stayed home?
Given no obligation, no cost, no need to pack sensibly or be responsible for anything other than your own happiness, where would you travel right now? To the Oregon Coast to just chill on the beach and to Atlanta Georgia for a Braves game!
