Time

Today's Blog prompt for My Freedom Class - My Freedom :: Prompt Two.

Time to take notes
What is your earliest clear memory? Going on a picnic with Grandma Thomas - we were living in Kamas Utah and I think she was the Relief Society President or maybe just in change of this activity - I am not sure. But I remember Mom making my lunch and putting it in a small white sack -she sold Fuller Brush door-to-door and had a lot of these and for dessert I had a Snickers Bar. I went with Grandma and we sat up tables outside under some trees on the bank of a creek in the next town - Francis. I can see her in my head flipping the table cloth up and the wind catching it and then it settling onto the picnic table.
What three things seem to take most of your time?
Preparing food
working at Wingers
cleaning the house
If you had one day with no obligations, what would you do with the time?
Scrapbook
read
Surf the Internet
Be alone
Imagine childhood you at an age that felt as happy and carefree as you remember. What would she do with a day of free time?
Run through the sprinkler
How much do you rely on a schedule?
If I want to get anything done I MUST have a schedule - and a to do list or my time will flitter away -
Do you wear a watch?
No - I hate to be controlled by the ticking of minutes but contradictory, I know I need it - see above
What is your favourite time of day?
7:13 am or pm clock time - I love to glance at the clock and see that time - it's my birthday and my favorite numbers
and 10 - 3 which sucks beacuse those are the exact times I have to work
Is there a day of the week or a time of year that you find particularly lovely?
Fall, but it is also very sad because it will be winter at any minute
What hour of the week would you skip, given the choice?
Right after church on Sunday - chaos runs supreme! With everyone here and fixing dinner and being in desperate need of a nap.
Think back to a time before your most recent milestone in life -- changing jobs, getting married, the arrival of a child or grandchild, retirement, etc. How was your day different then compared to now? Before I started working, my time was my own and I could doing anything I wanted. I really had to get used to being home alone when Kolby went to school - it was so hard and then I really got used to it and LOVED! it, I would give anything to go back. Well except bankruptcy!
An innocent and wide-eyed young girl comes to you for advice. She asks how you make time for important things. What do you tell her? Write down what you want and how you want to live your life and follow a schedule - prioritise - make room for what you love and be disciplined enough to get it
