
What is with the weather - I know we say this all the time - but really Tuesday and Wednesday was shirt sleeves and we get a blizzard on Friday! And Saturday is beautful blue skies!
Smart Habit Saturday - Plan your week - Planning my week works so well for me {when I actually do it - why when we know something works as is good for us we resist it??!!!!} I love laying out my week, seeing what will work where, where I may have extra time {is there such a thing}, where time will be short, seeing the things my to-do-list maped out and most of all feeling in control of my life! Sometimes, well truth be told lots of times, the stars and planets don't quite line up with my plan, but it is ok cus even when that happens and your week goes south - a few things actually do get done!
What do I plan?
* Menu - so we get to eat a homecooked meal most nights! and in this catigory is the grocery list
* Errands - so the groceries really get bought and the check gets to the bank and the presant gets bought and your son gets a new battery for his watch and printer ink gets bought.
* Home - the little odds and ends of organizing and running a home that need to be done but usually get forgotten - like changing the filter in the Brita pitcher, calling the city to sign up for the recycling program and registering your son for basketball.
* Family - planning FHE, celebrations for the next up-coming holiday or family members birthday's or get-togethers.
* Health/Personal - goals I have set for myself or to remind me to set up an appointment for a haircut or manicure.
